Is my laptop compatible with that monitor and will it be able to run at full 1920 x 1200 resolution? Please say yes, lol. I really really want this monitor. :)

    Thanks.

Yes, I am pretty sure it will scale up properly. I can never be certain, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Every video card on the market can run WUXGA.

Phew, thank god for that. Another thing though. My laptop only has a VGA port. How will the picture quality look? I know it wont be as crisp as DVI, but it wont be blurry will it?

It will still look nice and clear. it shouldnt be blurry. DVI isnt all that better than VGA anyway

Anything 2d in windows wont lag. Just dont expect to play 3d games on that resolution specially with that graphics card.

Not everyone is concerned with playing games.

Make sure you have a high quality VGA cable and keep it short as possible. Also keep it away from any mains cables. To bad there's no HDMI on that (HDMI = DVI)

I beg to differ there. DVI is hugely better than VGA, especially at high resolutions, and it's also more reliable. VGA is subject to the environment and the cable quality and length, while DVI is not. Also with VGA, you're going Digital->Analog->Analog->Digital, while DVI is Digital->Digital.
