Will the GT630m show any noticeable advantage over the HD 4000?

I ordered a DV6 with the Ivy Bridge i5. I opted for the GT630m since I occasionally play some basic games and figured for the minimal extra cost it would be worth it. My order has yet to be shipped. In the interim I've been looking around at reviews. Apparently the HD 4000 is a big step for integrated graphics (conventional wisdom has always held that integrated cards don't even come anywhere near close to even the lowliest of discreet models). Some reviews seem to indicate that the HD 4000 is very close in performance to the GT630m which I didn't realize is a card that is based off of somewhat outdated technology. Just wondering what you guys think about this.

"Intel’s HD 4000 is adequate in the sense that it can offer a playable experience in most games at 1366x768, but you will have to turn down the detail below the modest settings.

If you want a decent gaming experience you will do yourself a huge favor by considering a low-end discrete solution like the NVIDIA GT 630M. This solution offers a clear advantage over Intel HD 4000."

It's like 30-40% faster than the HD4000, iirc. Really if you wanted a dGPU you should have gotten the 650m which is like 3 times as fast.
