My local CompUSA is closing tomorrow, so I got a 1gb SODIMM of Centon "MacReady DDR2-667 / PC2-5400 for Core Duo iMac" for 90% off. It makes no mention of compatibility with non-Macs, but it looks, smells, and tastes like normal DDR2. Will this memory make my DV6000t explode?

Just put it in and run memtest86+. Worst thing that can happen is BSOD or failure to boot due to faulty/incompatible memory.
