    Hey all I have an HP Compaq nc8430 laptop. I have been trying to play some games but they require 4gb RAM to operate. Right now my computer has a total of 1 go of ram. I read this about upgrading ram on my computer here: Upgrading RAM in HP Compaq nc8430, nw8440, nx8420 >> Inside my laptop
    It explains how this laptop can hold up to 4 go of ram (2 in each slot). It says which ram is compatible. It says I can use PC-4200 DDR2-533. I found a Komputerbay 2X 2GB DDR2 533MHz PC2-4200 PC2-4300 DDR2 533 SODIMM Laptop Memory on Amazon. I am wondering what the difference is between the PC-4200 and PC2-4200. Can my computer use this ram that I found on Amazon? I don't want to buy this and then not be able to use it. Thanks! Sorry if this is in the wrong location.
