These things are pretty brand new right? So what do you guys think of how long it will last. Is it gonna wear out quick? Even now there are problems with quickplay touch. Honestly, I'd prefer buttons that were nonbuggy, but nooo touch buttons were implemented that don't work right under heat... etc... So how long will these expect to be "working" before they stop working.

I think if they're working they'll last pretty long. I don't see a reason why they won't last. But if u don't have notebook yet, make sure u check that the buttons work to begin with coz mine never worked :p

Eh, I don't like them and thus don't really use them. I don't care about the multimedia buttons, but the volume button is a real bother.

I too would much rather have actual buttons and knobs. However, since there are no moving parts, I would doubt they could ever 'wear out'.

Yeah, I would rather have buttons and knobs too. These touch buttons just don't function well... My main concern are the volume (which messes up frequently) and the wireless. I know there are no moving parts... makes sense I guess... but what no gradual wear out until the sensors mess up and don't work anymore?

I have a strange feeling these "Sensors" are much more expensive and difficult to replace
