That's my biggest qualm w/ my zv5340... It's a 64 bit CPU and the only 64 bit OS out there is Linux. So, I put on a copy of SUSE 9.2 Pro and all's good and well... Except for the broadcom wireless driver.
There's a few NDIS wrappers out there, but they're all 32 bit. And from what I hear, HP locks down the bios so it'll reject any other wireless card you install.
I use the wireless at home, and that's where I use my notebook the majority of the time. If I could just get a wireless driver that would work under linus, I'd be able to just about completely dump the Wintendo OS and go w/ straight Linux...

You heard right. I'm the guy who found out the hard way that HP has locked out non-HP miniPCI wireless cards in the BIOS. HP claims that the FCC made them do it, but since Dell/eMachines/etc don't...
Until someone ports ndiswrapper to 64-bit you're stuck with using PCMCIA WiFi cards.
Will we *ever* see a Broadcom driver for Linux?
