    I can't find the full set of drivers and applications for my DV5-1155ee

    I wanna go back to XP

    where can I find them?

    There are no official HP XP drivers for the dv5. You might be able to cobble them together by searching the internet, but I can tell you from personal experience it's a pain in the butt.

    For the win. If you want to make you machine run better and who doesn't really, I'd suggest a clean install if you can get a disc. A clean install might make more of a difference than XP because HP puts a ton of bloatware on there.

    Someones compiled the dv5t drivers for XP here somewhere. It wasnt 100% functional though.

    no I did a clean install of Vista Business SP1 and its very fast now. I had Vista Home Premium preinstalled but I like teh bus!ness m0re
