I have Windows 7 RTM and have Authentec 8.0 installed with DigitalPersona 4.0.1. DigitalPersona is not recognizing the fingerprint reader as installed and TrueSuite that got installed with Authentec drivers does not always respond at the logon screen. So, what happens is that about 25% of the times, when I scan my finger while at logon/lock screen, nothing happens. I have to click on other credentials and have to enter my password. I tried installing/uninstalling Authentec and DP, but that was no help. Anyone else experiencing this?
