    Hi,
I have bought a dv6585ca laptop which is out of dv6500 series.I have to downgrade it to Win Xp. but I noticed that it has'nt got the SATA diable function in the bios setup. So can sombody guide me to still load the xp? or is it not possible at all!
As I asked the HP technicians, they said its not possible at all to load xp on my machine.
I hope genius amongst you will guide me.
    Thanks

You tried slipstreaming the SATA drivers into the XP disc with nLite?
