    Hey,
Two days ago the HDD in my 2 year old HP ENVY 14 crashed :( I bought a new one (Momentus xt 750gb :)).

Ive tried to install my recovery discs on the new hard drive, but it refused because the hardware did not match the system :(.

I called support (Danish support, I'm from Denmark :))) , but since the laptop is to old for warranty, they could not help me, they also said that the recovery disc can only be used on exactly the same hardware.

Is there ANY way/trick/hack that I can install windows 7 on my new harddisk using my ENVY license?

I downloaded and tried to install a matching windows 7 home premium, but it wont accept my product key.

I would really hate if I have lost both my hard drive and windows license.

Help would really be appreciated, I fell very SCREWED :)
