    Nope I received it too and there's no sticker/decal/badge of windows 7. You only get 2 DVD's in 1 sleeve pouch with the Product Key on it. Also, comes with instructions of some sort.

    Well isn't that just a failure.

    You'd think they'd give a more classier case too.

    A whole new operating system independent of your laptop's previous operating system's serial key? If this Windows 7 isn't tied to your laptop's serial number, what's stopping people from installing it on other desktops and laptops or selling it?

    HP says that for a 32bit version of Win Vista Home Premium you will receive a 32bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium :-(

    This is the reason because I downloaded a new version of 64bit Windows 7 Professional directly from MSDNAA (thanks to University of Rome) and I installed it without making an upgrade from Windows Vista. (32bit and 64bit OS are not compatible for an upgrade)

    Hi, Yeah i know HP were saying that for 32bit you get 32 bit copy & for 64 you get 64.
    Was hoping they just weren't mentioning that 64 still came on the same pack so i could have dropped 32 and moved to 64

    Hi all;

    I just got my "Free" upgrade little pack for my new HP Mini 2140 (Renew model) and certanly a bit disappointed. For the big price (of 39,90€ ;) I got just one DVD and the manual.
    There were also delays in delivering (but it was due to New year holidays) so not a big deal.
    What I found disappointing is that they do send just a poor paper pack, not a full package as Sony do for example. And the price for it is extremly high for the product that supposed to be free and delivery goes within Europe; from Germany to Croatia!?
    I'll do the upgrade, actually - a fresh instalation if possible. Note on disc says "For use only as an Upgrade ..." ? So not sure what they did mean by that?
    Here are some shots of the expensive "package" :)
