    Windows 7 comes with all DV5t Drivers?

    It seems everything on my computer works and I didn't install a single driver...

    Should I install them anyways or what? I am sorta confused lol

    Check the device manager, the ir receiver, fingerprint and card reader(if you have them) show up as unreconigized hardware(or whatever it is)

    Windows 7 detects some of the hardware automatically but with generic or older versions of drives. Always update to the latest versions and as above check device manager for any unknown devices. :)

    How do i know which are up to date and which are not?

    Compare the versions in device manager to the latest drivers in the dv5t latest driver thread. :)

    there is no chipset driver for Windows 7. What do i do about this?

    Oh and how do I manually install the HP Protect Smart drivers? I downloaded the Driveguard drivers from the DV5T Thread but I cant find out how to manually install it as no device shows as not working in device manager

    I just wana make sure my system is running in tip top shape. Whats the easiest way to do this? Make sure I have all essential drivers up to date.
