Anyone experience issues with the Ultimate 6300-N using windows 8? When I install the latest drivers from the intel website I experience issues with losing the internet connection. If I uninstall and revert to the default drivers for Win 8 it works fine. I have the Envy 17 3000 3D.

    I am connected to 5ghz.

I got the exact same problem with my 6300 under windows 8. Some drivers work while the latest drivers suck. The issues range from dropping connection to extreme slow speeds and also failing to log in into some networks/ captive portals. As far as I know there is no fix. The latest fully working drivers are 15.4.1.1 in my case.

5ghz or 2,5ghz doesn't matter the newer drivers suck on both.

I got the same issues on my Alienware M18X via the latest 15.8.0.x driver from intel. I finally got it working by uninstalling the driver 2 times to get it to auto loading the 15.7.x.x driver upon reboot. It took a lot of version and this one I finally got to connect at 450MBPS all the time! Give it a try.
