Windows Anytime Upgrade Disk or OEM Vista Disk?

Does anyone know if HP notebooks come with either the Windows Anytime Upgrade Disk or the OEM Vista Disk? If not, is it possible to ask them for one?

Also, which of the two would be better for a clean install?

You can't use the Anytime disc for a clean install, but Microsoft has discontinued that program anyway.

The notebooks don't come with an OEM copy, but you can (and should!) make recovery discs with your existing install.

It is possible to get the "clean" media without a license through Microsoft for a small price, and there's instructions on the forum on how to use your current key to perform a fresh install.

 

This is where I began my long search for a WAU or OEM Vista disk for my dv5t, but have still not been able to find the solution. Where can one get the "clean media without a license through Microsoft for a small price"? I need an answer specific to my HP laptop, as the "Clean Install" directions offer so many variations depending on what brand notebook. I have spent countless hours searching for the Vista Installation Disc solution for my HP notebook, that I am learning I can not figure this out on my own. I need someone to hold my hand. Where, how, etc. - Vista Installation Disc. I already have my Vista Home Premium 64-bit product key - I just need the Vista disc.
