Todays one, however, ended up with 'Errors during last update. Will retry at 14/3/2011 17:25:14.'

    Today's log (13/3/11) was:

16:32:31 - The Directory package is already up to date.
16:32:31 - The ClientUpdate package is already up to date.

16:33:00 - Errors during the last update.
    16:33:00 - Will retry at 14/03/2011 17:25:14.

I think it may be me restoring the system using system restore (but it failed anyway because of having a virus scan running in the background  ) or having a slow internet connection but I don't know for sure. Im also currently running a full computer virus scan and I have 'Oracle VMVirtualBox' which installed its own Ethernet Driver and its now added 'Unidentified Network No network access' to the network icon.

If anyone has any solutions available then that would be great.

    Thank you very much.

    Matt

I'm seeing the same behavior. I didn't even know Media Center had it's own updates.

Could it be the lines that I highlighted in bold that are the errors? Because sometimes the errors could actually just be unavailable data. So instead of Media Center saying that its update(s) had errors, It could just say 'Successful with [NUMBER] unneeded items. Next update at ??/??/?? ??:??:??'

Also, I have Piriform's CCleaner set to clean upmy computer on startup so could it be that if its cleaning at start up, it could be deleting items from the update before they get onto my computer? I don't know if it is because if I remember correctly, it worked perfectly fine before with CCleaner running at startup.

    FINALLY fixed it!

All I had to do was reset my internet connection from my main hub and '£££kerching!£££', it finally works. :D :D :D

So if 'LordRasta' or anoyne else is getting errors during media center's update, just reset your main hub (e.g. BT HomeHub) and the errors are solved. The reset button is usually located on the side of the main hub for your internet connection.

I suspect that the update errors are due t either the internet connection becoming stressed out or becoming interrupted.

    Hope this helps other people!

These are the actual lines that are causing the problem. Since broadband connections can sometimes become 'stale' or 'interrupted', it can affect some updates of certain updates and websites as these kind of things now need fast, persistent and reliable internet for updates to work without ANY errors.

Again, hope this helps everyone that's getting these Media Center Update errors as well.
