Is there any way to remove windows media player from a vista preconfigured dv9000?

I don't see any options in the add/remove portion of Vista. Apparently, if i want the windows media player plug-in to work with firefox, I need to uninstall media player and reinstall it since Firefox needs to detect it.

Right now, it's not showing up in my firefox plugins and this sounds like the only solution. Thanks.

Did you try the Add/Remove Windows Components tab, if it exists in Vista?

    (I'm using Windows XP Home)

Unfortunately, I can't locate any thing that lets me remove windows components unless it's hidden in some way in Vista. :/
