    Windows Update (KB953631) repeated update?

    For Vista users, and now i suppose HP laptop users
    "this update keeps appearing to install. after being
    installed, no error, but 2 minutes later, appears again, like it wasnt
    installed. if i check the updates i have installed on my computer, it shows
    up at least 12 times this update (well, its all the times i installed...)
    restarting the computer shows me the update being configured, but after
    windows startup, the update is there again, ready to be donwloaded and
    installed...

    "Anyone know of "repeated installation" of this update. From this morning the update has been shown as new everytime I restart my computer and I have already installed it four times. It is not again wanting to install. When I look up the update installs - it shows that all four updates have been successfully installed. Any idea of what might be the issue."

    this is what i gathered so far from my online search, but no one has replied to their problems.
    i have this same problem too, after many successful updates this (KB953631) update keeps showing up, i asked many of my friends who has vista but it turns out they didn't, my only other friend who also has a HP laptop has this same update problem, so iono if its only HP laptop/pc owners or its just us.

    anyone else going through this problem and know what to do?

    it happened to me too, just hide the update after it installs
