Some who have had the same problem "error 80070570" have addressed the issue by doing a manual download.

There should be a link with/near that error that will take you to a windows help section that describes what the error means and how to correct it.

Re-run the update and click on the error code link.

I've seen in other threads that the problem was in the download using Windows updater. Try googling the service pack update and download it from there, the installation has then worked, for others. I can only tell you what I've see posted. :)
    Cannot open file

How did you install it, if it won't open, because that's what that code error means? (Cannot open file) Plus if you go through some of them other codes you'll see that sometime windows disallows files it deems as unnecessary/not the best.

I have one in my windows update history which reads (error 80070103) if you look that up is says "Windows has determined that the selected driver is not the best driver for your machine."
