This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Windows Vista cant find my Dvd drive ..

    i googled this up and everyones telling me to delete the registry and uninstall it ... which i did but it still keep saying it can not locate the dvd drive ...

    its not a driver issue cuz i checked and it says all my drivers are up to date ...

    this is so gay its not even a week old and the laptop is already giving me ...

    Try to boot your laptop with a bootable DVD or CD. If it can boot from a disc, your DVD drive is working. Windows can't find your dvd drive probably by the corrupted driver. Try to find the driver for your DVD drive.
