I've got an HP dv6500t running windows XP with an 8400M GS gfx card. When I downgraded to xp I remember it took alot of trial and error to find the proper video card drivers that would work with both xp and the 8400m card. I found many official drivers and modded .inf files that were designed for xp, but most would not allow my laptop to come out of sleep mode when i opened the lid on it. I settled on forceware driver version 6.14.11.6218 but I'm wondering if there are any new drivers out that would be better (specifically drivers that perform better on Gears of War but it's not necessary). I've checked laptopvideo2go and there are so many options and I'm not sure which will perform better and allow the laptop to come out of sleep mode.

    Thanks
