How is the easiest way to install Windows XP on a new HP notebook such as the HP dv6275us? Will Hewlett Packard sell me a Windows XP restore disc or is there a list of Windows XP drivers and the order of installation?

You can order a "recovery" disc from hp, but i'm pretty sure it will have all of the crap software on it that your laptop had originally.
Your drivers are in the SWsetup folder.
Alternatively, and sort of illegally, you could find an untouched iso of the version of xp you have in a torrent. it has to be untouched though. install it, call msoft, give them your product key, they give you a install key, bada boom bada bing. fresh and CLEAN install.
