    Hi,

So you've managed to get all XP drivers working except for the ATI graphics and bluetooth? What are you using for graphic drivers in the mean time?

Do you notice any speed differences on the DV2 with XP compared to Vista?

    Thanks!

I will report back once i get my replacement laptop, the current one is going back due to the case being twisted so that it rocked when typing

it seemed alot quicker for boot up times, and a bit quicker when using, but will do some testing once have a replacement laptop

You gonna do any gaming on it?
This looks like a very promising little laptop/netbook!

not gonna be playing games on it at all, have been watching some 1080p movies on it via HDMI to a 24" LG screen and the mkv was playing fine using around 30% cpu at 800mgz

ok, 3dmark 06 won't run for some reason with these drivers? just get a not responding... but they seem to be as good as running vista or windows 7. not any better or worse (playing morrowind, oblivion, and fallout 3)

like i said, 3dmark06 won't run, but unreal 3 runs much, much better, running at native resolution with low/medium settings, looks great.

This shouldn't be surprising if you haven't upgraded your RAM, as Vista takes up a big chunk of that 2GB, whereas XP uses a lot less.

    Mike,

How were you able to get the WLAN drivers working for this. I mean, what drivers did you use? I have a dv2z-1030us and struggling with the display and wireless card. Don't really care much about the others...
