I need help installing Windows XP on the Compaq Presario CQ60-420.

What do I need to do, what do I need to get, and where do I get it?

    Has anyone done this yet?

    Thanks

Well there was no option on the Bios for the Hard drive to change it from SATA to AVHC. Does this mean I can't downgrade it to XP.

No, just slipstream the SATA drivers into the XP installation and create a new installation disc. As far as the other drivers are concerned search the web and there are drivers linked in the forum sticky's as well which should work for your system given the similarities in the hardware.
