The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Windows XP on Pavilion DV2550en .. Floppy Drive and Bluetooth

    Hello,

    I've followed the instructions on the posts and installed WinXP on my laptop. Everything went smooth but in my device manager I see "Standard floppy disk controller (!)" This device cannot start (Code 10).

    The problem is that I don't have a floppy drive.

    Also bluetooth is not working.

    My Laptop is HP Pavilion DV2550en

    I'll appreciate any ideas.
