More out of curiosity than anything. I have a new HP laptop with Vista Home Premium. It was built like a month ago. I have yet to let it run Windows Update. I try to use things first to see how it goes, then do some updates so if anythings wrong I know it was after updateing later.

So I was just curios, when they install Vista at HP is there any intergrated updates up to the current time? or is it putting the original release of Vista from when it was released?....and no updates..
    Its running pretty well.
Of course I am going to go get the security updates.
    Just wondering.

Like my old retail XP disc, it didn't even have SP1 on it, when I had to reinstall it on my desktop it took forever to run Windows updates!

Well the latest update that might be in there was in mid-Feb.

If you want, you can always integrate Windows Updates into your Vista disc using vLite. Though, it's gonna be different once SP1 officially gets released.
