When I brought my new Laptop to a Library today that has wireless,I turned on the wireless switch, the Library Wireless isp showed up on my wireless Window as being connected, and running at top speed 54.
But when I tried to get on internet using 3 differant Web Browsers including internet exployer, I counl,t get on the internet.
I checked the instructions from the Library, and they were OK.
What could have been wrong,is there something that I didnt do?
There were 4 other wireless isps also listed in Wireless window.
I truly would appreciate everyones help[ :(]

It's possible that you were connected, to a bridge or something else that wouldn't let you out. With out looking at it, there isn't too much I can guess, I would think the best bet would be to have someone at your library help you set it up.
