Anyone who has the ZV6000 series notebook, could you tell me the quality of the built-in wireless adapter? more specifically:
    1) Which version of windowsXP were you using (home or Pro)
    2) How is the range
    3) what brand router/access point were you connecting to
    4) how easily did windows find the wireless network
    5) are the wireless options accessible/available, or are there any settings that are user-configurable

Sorry for all the questions[ :p]

Since I've barely even used mine yet, all I can say is the following:

I started up my notebook the second I got it (on AC power) & it acquired my wireless-b Linksys network INSTANTLY!!! & I was using Xp-Home.

I used to have R3000Z and I could detect my neighbor's signal's 100 ft accross the street. My ZV6000 could not detect the signal unless I moved 10-15 ft closer.

Zv6000 athlon 64 3200+ XP Home Linksys WRT54G. Found network no problem. Typed in WPA code and was surfing in about 1 minute. Range is good. Have been able to see several neighbors networks that did not appear on my Linksys PCMCIA card plugged into my old laptop. Long story short, internal wireless card works just fine.

wow that sounds like you dont even need your own wireless internet access since you have 7 networks at your disposal![ :D]

NOTE: Using someone else's wireless internet connection is illegal unless you have the permission of the person who owns the connection. I was only joking, so dont actually do that unless you want to get in trouble. Its the same thing as wardriving!
