    Hello,

Unfortuantely, I ordered my laptop (dv4t-5000) without the bluetooth which looking back was the worst 15$ mistake ever... However, now I want it and I have searched the forums and read about whitelisted items.

My question is, can I order the chip that WOULD have come and switch it out. Or are my BIOS locked to what it was installed with? If so, what wireless card with bluetooth would be suitable.

Whoa there fellas. Is bigfoot on the whitelist for his computer?

Others have had trouble with bigfoot and a DV6... I know different computer, but you should check.

Edit - check the part numbers available for the wireless cards from HP for your laptop.
