My 8400GS in my DV2750ee died a few months ago, so I gave it to the technicians at HP to repair, and they replaced the whole MOBO, now the problem is that I can't find my wireless adapter !!

    please help and thnx :)

Did you toggle the wireless switch in the front to on?

In device manager, is the wifi card listed under network adapters?

Also check to see if there is a wifi card installed. You'll need a Philips screw driver. The wifi compartment is on the bottom of the notebook.

Also, here's the service manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01295820.pdf

nah, I opened and it was there alright, but seems that the guys at HP forgot to put it back in after they fixed it.
Just a gentle push and voila! problem solved!
am still angry, it wasted my time...

    hey.

    it works now at least.

Gotta look on the brightside. 'cause some parts of HP's RMA and repair bring horror stories with 'em (mainly HP UK)
