Help! I've got a Pavilion G60 235-DX. I was using MediaCom as my ISP and the wireless connection worked fine. I just switched to Qwest. The wireless no longer works (on this computer, only.) (My Qwest connection works fine for two desktop computers connected with ethernet cables and my Lenovo laptop connected wirelessly.) I tried connecting my HP laptop with an ethernet cable and it works fine. I spent and hour with the Qwest tech deleting the connection and reinstalling - both automatically and manually, until he finally said he didn't know what the problem was and quit. He pointed out that my laptop finds the network connection fine and shows that we are connected. There is a regular line from my computer to the network but a line with a red X between the network and the internet.

I reconnected to my old Mediacom connection (wirelessly) and it works fine.

    I'm out of ideas........!

Try Dropping your security on your new network and see if you can connect and transmit if you can you will have to lower the type of security you are using.
