    Hi all! :)

I've got a dv6000 laptop, bought 1 year ago, running Vista (SP1 Beta, whatever it's called). A couple of days ago, after starting up from Suspend, the wireless wouldn't work (wireless light stayed orange). I just rebooted, and it was fine again. Today when I started it up, the same thing, and I had to restart about 5-10 times before the wireless light turned blue, and now it works fine..

Is the damn thing dying? I'm scared of switching it off.:twitcy:

Also.. When will HP release a working driver for the webcam? :mad2: I tried the Acer/Chicony driver route I found on this site, but it didn't work..

    Thanks! :)

Mine's not on that list.. And it has worked flawlessly for over a year (wireless).

But it's definately hardware failure? Or could it be an issue with drivers?

Btw, I accidentally switched my computer off after posting the first post, and had to restart the computer about 20 times before the wireless would work. It's getting worse.. Lol(with a hint of sadness)!

Most likely hardware failure, try reinstalling your drivers though. If possible, a clean or recovery install if your planning to send it back to hp for repairs. They are gonna tell you to do this anyway
