Hi All
Got a nice new HP NC6000 for work, and i self fitted a W500 HP Mini PCI wireless card.
I understood, that on the nc6000 there are 4 buttons across the top, and one of these (the lollypop!) is used to enable and disable wireless?
On my unit, this switch only activates and de activates Bluetooth, and has no effect on the wireless![]()
Is there something ive not done, as i would prefer to be able to switch the wireless to conserve battery power etc
Thanks

The wireless button is located on the front left corner where the audio buttons are located. This will turn the wireless on and off.

While I do expect a Windows notebook manufacturer to put two buttons with similar functions on completely different parts of the machine, along with about 20 red, orange, and most of all blue LEDs all over the case: dude, that's an IR port cover. It will certainly NOT "turn the wireless on and off."
For the record, the "lollipop" on the top case should do the wireless, but hey, it's HP, and they aren't known for their driver quality.
