Probably a stupid question, but where can you adjust the power settings on a DV2000T?

I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG connection. I know that Broadcom usually has options such as minimum power, power saving, power output percentage, etc.

Just trying to get the most out of my 6-cell battery. Already altered it slightly with RMClock.

    Thanks in advance.

So go to control panel and then network configurations.

then you'll come up with a box listing your connection (the Pro/Wireless). Click configure.

then it will have some stuff to edit.

and boy does it make a difference in the pickup range!! I have the same as you -- and after I put up TX power, etc, I notice I have much stronger connections.

No wonder I couldn't find it. I selected the Internet Gateway originally.

    Thanks a bunch!

But, of course, the power management already had the maximum setting for the best battery life.
