Anyone have any recomendations for a Wireless N router that works at "N" speeds with the Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth card that ships with the HP DV9500T ?

For example, I have read reports that Linksys WRT350N has problems connecting at all, much less connecting above "G" speeds.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joe

I just got my dv9500t and I can highly recommend the Trendnet TEW-631BRP Wireless N router. You have to setup the encryption to WPA or WPA2 and you will be set for fast wireless N access. I got the router from Buy.com last week and it has a $30 dollar rebate now bringing to price below $50.

    Good luck.

Did some research, and Intel's test system used the Netgear WNR834B ...which is not to say that this is the best one at this point, but it's a good sign at least.

If you experience problems with an access point that has the "Connect with Centrino" certification, I also noticed that Intel has info about how to resolve known issues on their support page for the 4965AGN.

Stay away from the WRT350N at this time, I had one and returned it, it has many problems right now especialy with vista, the problems are too numerous to list, the current firmware 1.03.2 is so buggy, its almost impossible to setup, they did release v 1.03.6 but that firmware was pulled within a few days as it turned many routers into a brick or door stop, I had one for a few days only to find out the router did not hold its settings if it lost power, it returned to default settings, many sections just did not work, I hooked up a usb external drive, the router saw it, but vista would not let me access it, just do a search on the router and you will get a good idea what your in for. the WRT350N is not ready for prime time, if the firmware was good and worked properly with vista, it would be a great router, I dont want do bore you with more details because it would be too much typing, do the search.
I went with the D-link 655 and it works great.
