at last i found the dv6 6080 in a local store in my town
but i'm worried about the hm65 issue with the hp models.. i read that u can knw if it is infected or not by knowing the serial num.
so here is the serial for the shown test laptop in the store

can any1 plz tell me if it is infected or not and how do u knw it ?
and another q.. it is i7 2630 with gpu 6770 ati
but the hardesk is 5400 rpm not 7200.. is that have a huge effect ?
and wt will it affect ? only copying and moving files ? or running the programs and games ?

The 5400rpm drives effect will only be felt in loading times. Once loaded there shouldnt be any big differences.
As far as the chipset is concerned according to HP "if the fourth through sixth digits of the serial number are "108" or numerically higher, your HP notebook does not have the affected Intel chipset. No further action is necessary."
The one you have says 118...so it shouldnt be impacted by the recall.
