Hi i live in canada and want a dv2500t. Thing is hp.ca doesnt ship any and no stores carry the new santa rosa. Also laptops are way cheaper in the states just like everything even though when you include tax here in canada everything should be pretty much same price. Anyway Im worried about warranties if my Hp gets busted could i send it to hp canada or will i have to ship it to the states and will they ship it back to canada?

I don't think they would do anything but domestic repairs on a domestic notebook.
-
nope from what i hear u need a US credit card to pay for repairs and they dont ship overseas
-
Well... Canada is not overseas from the US
Steve -
hahaha funny but it can be overseas if u leave the US from a coast and go into Canada

You will have to fins a address in th states and register the warrenty under that address.
Would Buying In States Be bad Idea?
