I received my notebook with system and recovery partitions and since then I have two more partitions, one for programs and one for data. I read somewhere that recovery restores the notebook to original state. Does that also mean that it will automatically delete my data and program partitions and combine it all under C: drive? or will it just format my C: reisntall the original OS on it, leaving the other two partitions intact? Little confusion here. Please help!!!

Using the Recovery Disks will delete everything on your drive and restore your notebook HD to the original state as you received it.

System and Recovery Partitions, and all the Bloatware, will be nicely re-installed for you with all your data and partitions gone.

Grab a cheap external drive to backup your data.

Geez that sucks... I thought recovery disks were stupid and would only do their work on C: drive. Hate to see they wont like my D: and E: drives. Bad Stuff..
