    Hey everyone, just got my laptop in today after exchanging the first. I had the intel core 2 duo p8400 put it.BUT on the laptop the sticker says intel centrino 2?? is this a common mistake? is someone could help i would really appreciate it. by the way i am new to laptops and i apologize if this is a stupid question

    as far as I know, this has something to do with your wireless card module.
    not quite sure though.

    anyway, as long as you have your hardware configuration correct, there is nothing to worry about =]

    Nope, it's because you have the whole pack - cpu(P8400)+chipset(GM45)+wireless(Intel 5100)

    my 9700t had the same sticker, but it doesn't bother me anymore because I took all of the ugly stickers off.
