    Hey yall!!!

    I wanted to know how we can determine if we have a x84 or x84 system....

    I don't know if it has any relations with the windows Bit Version.....

    im going to say if you dont know, then you have x86 (32bit)

    because you have to specifically get 64 bit if you customize a computer or if you bought it in store, 99.9% of computers will have 32bit

    Several processors are 64 bit capable. These would be AMD Athlon 64 and Turion processors, while the Intel Core 2 processors are 64 bit. As for actually using it, that depends on your Windows/Operating System. It needs to be the 64 bit version. If it's a 32 bit processor, it's a 32 bit operating system. If it's a 64 bit processor it can be a 32 bit OR a 64 bit operating system.

    Thx for the news!!!, but if I clean install an vista 64bit on my dv6565ca, then i will have to use the x64..?

    If you use the 64 bit disc, then you will have 64bit. If you use the 32bit disc, then you will have 32 bit.

    mostly all have the x86 unless you asked for x64
