I've just studied this guide on how to avoid the hated phone-in activation, but find that it applies to Vista only.

I haven't used Winduhs for ten years (Debian), so XP activation is quite annoying. I tried the Vista activation backup utility, but it does not work for XP, as it backs p the key, but not the certificate.

Is there an activation backup program for XP?
