I have a HP Pavilion dv2618ca and would like to dual boot Vista and XP. Windows Vista was installed by default and I have done a clean install of Vista using an anytime upgrade disc. Now I would like to install Windows XP (due to Vista lagging) and dual boot but can't find any audio drivers.

I've been on the HP website looking for drivers but can't find any audio drivers for windows XP.

Does anyone know if there are other audio drivers compatible with windows XP that I could use or if it's possible to get my speakers to work?

I'd really like to be able to run a fully working copy of XP.

Perhaps you can try the driver of a machine that came with XP like the dv2000.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
