    New to this forum and somehow desperated.

    Can anyone source where could I find the xp drivers for the hp dv5 1160es. I hate vista and do not want to keep it in the laptop.

    look here at the DV7 as a starting point since many of the subsystems are the same as DV.

    Edit: A search of the forum with the following search term "dv5 xp" while produce a slew of thread which discuss the level of success and failure of XP on DV5.
