    Hi!

    I have a dv6565eo where I'm installing XP.
The problem is that I can't find which drivers needed for this.
When I look for drivers at hp.com, there's only a few drivers for XP. All of them for Vista.

Could someone please tell me which drivers I need to download?

    Thanks in advance!

Please read the stickys. There is a compiled XP driver pack in there.

Since the HP Pavilion dv6565eo is an AMD-based notebook, you will have to install the NVIDIA graphics driver (mentioned above) as well as the NVIDIA nForce motherboard chipset drivers. You can find the motherboard drivers located on NVIDIA's website ( http://www.nvidia.com/drivers); they will work.

As for the rest of your hardware, you may have to search for the drivers on the Internet. Fortunately, I do know Microsoft's Windows Update service does offer drivers for the following components, which happen to be in your system.

    - Conexant High Definition Audio Driver
    - Broadcom 802.11a/b/g WLAN Driver
    - Conexant HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP Driver
    - Synaptics TouchPad Driver

Edit: I suggest you do follow the stickies that flipfire posted above. They are very helpful.
