    Xbox 360 detected in my laptop

    I'm using dv6000t with Win Media Center 2005
    Yesterday it detected an Xbox 360 and I don't know where that Xbox is, I don't have Xbox in my house. It leaves an exclamation mark in the task bar and keeps asking me to connect the device to the laptop. There is no option to shut it down.
    Any idea what's going on?

    Do you have a wireless network running? I'm going to guess that you do, and I'm also going to guess that you don't have any password protection on the WiFi either. Try setting up the network to do that, and also shut down the Windows Media Connect program (I'm not too sure how since I've never used it outside of trying to get it to work).

    Oh My friend, it sounds like someone was stealing your wifi connection to get on XBox Live ;) If that's the case, follow the instruction as suggested by Night 2004.
