I'm playing around with my Altec Lansing speaker settings on my DV9700T and I just can't seem to get them right. I'm talking about the environment settings like padded cell, carpeted hallway, etc., and then the equalizer like dance, soft, party.

I've been sitting here for an hour trying out different settings but everything just sounds so tinny.

I just wanted to know what everyone has set theirs to so I can make some more adjustments.

    Thanks!

Hmmm... Music sounds like it's in a barrel at the default settings. I miss the Harmon Kardon speakers my old laptop has built in.

I use the equalizer in Winamp to tweak my setting when I'm listening to music. Otherwise, I leave them at default. To me the sound seems small, but then again I didn't purchase mine as a home stereo.
