    Yuan EC300 TV tuner on DV7 series laptop

    Hi,

    I have a EC300 tv tuner from a 9000 series laptop, and bought myself a DV7 series without the inbuilt TV tuner, expecting just to be able to insert the tv card in, download the drivers and for it to work. However, it isnt as easy as that because Media Centre cant detect a TV card even after installing drivers. Any ideas on making it work, or has anyone else had a similar problem. The laptop runs 64bit Vista.

    No, nobody know of any way round it? Is there a generic driver which I can try? Please help!! Be much appreciated.
