Ok so about a year and a half ago I got my ZD8000t for school and well the battery on it went dead super fast. It wasnt a big problem because I had it pluged in most of the time anyway. Then it would start to overheat with normal use and it would automatically shut down. Well I would have to let it cool of anf turn it back on. It was very annoying but I proped it up and that seemed to help. We recently is wasnt overheating because I had the A/C on in my room and it just shut down and wont turn on at all.

I believe it is the power source because nto even the fans will turn on now.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem and how to fix it? I know it's still under warrente, but I dont want to have it in the shop for a month or more just to be fixed.

Everythign is pluged in just fine and is pluged into a working surge protector. Nope, no lights come on so that is whay I think it is the power source gone bad. Nothing happens when I hit the power button.
