Hi guys and gals. I have a HP ZE5600 notebook that I purchased new in 2004. I have had no problems at all with it. A few weeks ago my battery discharged during use and the notebook turned off. I installed my AC adaptor and it would not turn on but the amber light on the front will blink. I tested my ac adapter with my DVM and I am geting voltage output, so the AC adaptor is good. Any other suggestions? Is it time to purchase a new laptop?

    Thanks for the help.
