Hello, I am new here, I hope some here can help.
About month and half ago I decided to update my bios (I know don't update unless it is a matter of life or death). It went bad. Laptop is in a comma for now. I learned from other places that you can reflash your by holding the win+B key as you plug it in. I boot off of a USB Floppy. It read the floppy for about 3 seconds then it starts a higher pitch beeping as it is reading the floppy this goes on for around 20 to 25 seconds then the floppy stops then the computer gives me one last beep then nothing.
Any Ideas?

Here's an article, which concerns other issues but at one point the notebook dies and the guy needs to recover the BIOS. Look at it: http://www.richud.com/HP-Pavilion-104-Bios-Fix/, the part I"m talking about is this:

I have tried that. and still nothing. I was wondering when I didn't have the floppy drive attached and did the win+b and started it up it gave me a beep code that matches the error for my video not working, could that be the problem? I been trying everything and anything to bring life to my laptop. I talked to HP and they didn't help much.

Why don't you ask HP for Bios Recovery software, that is their version of the Phoenix BIOS Crisis Recovery Diskette. There must be a way to recover the BIOS. Did you find/extrat the WPH file from a working BIOS?

I downloaded the original bios from HP and I extracted it from there. No I haven't ask for that My service warranty ran out. The Bios is Phoenix bios so it should recover it unless HP modified it somehow.
