I've been looking at the HP ZX5078cl our local Sams Club has it for $1500.

I want it primarily for travel. Watching DVD's, internet and game playing-Command and Conquerer etc. Then when I'm not travelling will be used as our third computer. All comments and suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

That is fairly similiar to my laptop and should easily handle the command and conquer. The 9200 wont be able to handle the newest games as well as a 9600, but I have yet to see anyone other than an online retailer offer this machine with that card in it.

I purchased my zx5000 from CostCo online. At CostCo online, you can configure your own system. My specs are very similar to Quikster's. If you have a costco membership you might want to check them out.

i've been using the zx5078cl for about 3 mos. now. i like the multimedia capabilities (DVD, 3D action games, video-editing), no problems surfing the internet wirelessly, but i'd consider it a bit bulky for frequent traveling (esp. airplanes). the 15.4" screen is nice and crisp, but i am eyeing the 17" version (ZD7058CL at Costco.com) -- anyone has experience/opinions?
